Pointing Out How Android N Is Better Android 6.0 Marshmallow

In this blog we will compare Android 6.0.1, Marshmallow and Developer preview 3 of Android N on two flagship phone of Google that is Nexus 6, and a Nexus 6P. At Google IO, the company released its 3rd stable version, and the company will soon announce a stable name for Google yet to announce the name for Android N.

In this blog, we will discuss in detail some new features and changes made by Google when it comes to Android N what features make them different from the latest release of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Be it a rookie or professional Android development company, everyone has an eye on these new updates.
Let's find out!

Split-Screen

During the Split Screen view it was first seen that split screen was a hidden setting in Marshmallow, however now it seems that this setting has become a prominent one.

In order to activate them, you can make use of two methods: all you need to do is to hold down the Recents button, or – among the Recents view, drag an app either on the top or bottom on your mobile screen.

Notifications turn out to be quite informative and powerful

Notifications have become strong when it comes to Android N. Apart from the changes in the look and feel – they now have a minimal look that appears in white. Along with this, it makes it easy perform actions, for instance, answering a message straight from the notification.

Android N comes with Direct Reply

Android N has now bundled multiple notifications, and it can now expand notifications by using your two finder notification, or by using a new button for an arrow. The latter appears to be quite handy for those who do not have much idea about Android devices and are not aware of the slide of two finger slide.

Night Mode

However the best changes they made in its System UI tuner: moreover, at last, we can see that the stock Android now even has a dark theme.

For this, you get to have another feature which was first present the preview of Marshmallow, this time; we can see that the Night Mode will stay in the device.

Ample lot of easily changeable UI settings

Those you are not aware of the little icons that are present there on the status bar, which leaves only very less space for your notifications. This allows you to customize around all the of your liking, which includes icons such as volume, Bluetooth, cellular data, Wi-Fi, alarms, airplane mode, and several other features.

Quick app switch

Though it is one of the smallest it is certainly the best feature: make sure to double tap your Recents button to hop immediately on to your last app, even if you are currently in the launcher. All you need to do is a double tap to switch back to the normal mode.

DPI Scaling

Further, we can get a UI tweak which you will get in the UI tuner is the DPI Scaling. As we know that Android has made it easy for you to make sure to change your text through your current device, DPI scaling is quite a powerful scheme, as it affects the complete interface. For those whose eyesight is not proper, would like to make all the items larger in order to make them easily visible.
